About DM Starter Kit

DM Starter Kit helps new and teen Game Masters run their first games with less prep and less stress: plain-English references, short adventures and tools that work on a phone at the table.

Who we are

This site is an independent project run by a data analyst and educator with more than 15 years in process improvement and business intelligence, and a decade teaching graduate courses in decision support and analytics. That background shapes how we work: tools are tested at a real table with new players, rules summaries are checked against the SRD 5.2.1, and pages are corrected when we find a mistake.

Our content

We only use rules material from the open SRD 5.2.1 under CC-BY-4.0 (see attribution). Adventures, generator tables and guides are original. This is an independent fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Free content stays free.
